A French Revolution for Dan!

Dan Spiller had to brush up on his French recently , as he was chosen to work backstage at the prestigious Paris Fashion Week, alongside Eugene Souleiman, Global Creative Director for Wella Professionals at Haider Ackermann and Issey Miyake S/S’ 12.

This was a unique chance for Dan to really push himself as a stylist by standing alongside the fashion greats. Of his experience in Paris, Dan says, bq. “Getting to work with an icon of mine such as Eugene was a complete honour and one of the most exciting things that has happened in my career. It was an amazing experience and his team was so inspiring to work with”
Dan styled the two incredible shows, giving the models of the Haider Ackermann show, a chic, dishevelled, boyish look.

Eugene Souleiman said of the look;

I was thinking about the style of a young aristocratic boy who parties a little too hard, and wanted to transfer this look to a beautiful young woman to create a slightly androgynous hairstyle.

The second look Dan created was for the Issey Miyake S/S ’12 collection which was inspired by nature, especially the vibrancy of nature’s floral palette, and the organic shapes of plants and flowers.

Dan has positioned himself truly at the forefront of fashion! By working the catwalk shows, Dan is not only setting trends for the upcoming season, but can offer you invaluable insider tips!
