The family
The Marc Antoni philosophy is to give its clients value for money together with the best available technical expertise.
Bruno Giamattei
The award winning Marc Antoni salon group is steeped in family history. Bruno Giamattei Senior left his birthplace of Naples, Italy in 1961, leaving behind the family business of producing wine and olive oil to pursue his passion and creativity in hairdressing. Starting his career on the Isle of Man, Bruno later headed for mainland England where he honed on his skills and broadened his horizons.
Five years later, at the age of 23, Bruno realised his dream and opened his first salon in Reading, naming it after his two sons Bruno Marc and Simon Antoni. It was natural that his sons worked alongside their father and were later joined by younger siblings Aaron and Marcus.
Bruno Senior has now returned to his first passion in Italy, his vineyard where he produces fine wines quality olive oil. His sons constantly push the company to achieve new heights and, as a result are being recognised for their dedication, passion and creative work in both hairdressing and the business of hair worldwide.
Bruno Marc Giamattei
Bruno Marc took Marc Antoni to new heights by winning British Hairdressing Awards Southern Hairdresser of the Year in 2007. In his role as Ambassador for System Professionals, Bruno travels countrywide teaching both product knowledge to key journalists and hairdressing skills to fellow hairdressers. Bruno also leads the Marc Antoni Artistic Team worldwide. 2010 found Bruno’s expertise sought by the Fellowship for British Hairdressing F.A.M.E. team in his role as Manager, a role he still maintains.
Simon Antoni Giamattei
Simon’s 25 years of hairdressing has given him the critical edge of knowing both sides of the business inside out. Away from the salon floor Simon now oversees the management of the Marc Antoni salon group. His motto, ‘to be the best’ means that he constantly pushes the boundaries of salon expectations.
